    The PAF Joe has an Alnico 5 magnet. It is also supposed to have a very single-coil-like quality to the solo tone.

    No it is not. The PAF Joe use the Virtual Vintage technology, not the old PAF Pro.
    The PAF Joe has a less modern tone too.

    If you get it from Musician's Friend it'll only be about $60 bucks anyways. Probably a pretty sweet pickup. I love my PAF Pro, I can imagine it would be great with a ceramic magnet as well.

    I heard that it's basically a PAF Pro with a Ceramic magnet. If it is, you can find PAF Pro's all day on Ebay for less than $50 and you can just fdo a magnet swap.

    Im looking into getting a PAF Joe for my RG in the neck position.
    I realised I am buying this with out even knowing much about it except Satch uses it and what is written on the Dimarzio site which is a stupid thing to do hehe
    Any1 herd anything about these I should no or has any1 got one?
