I pulled out my old pickups on my ESP Vintage Plus Tele (1995) to replace the pickups, and lo and behold, they are Seymour Duncans! Can someone help me identify them, so I know what I have, and possibly get something different?
The bridge pickup has "Seymour Duncan" engraved on to the brass plate that is attached to the bottom of the pickup. It has a sticker that says either "I R" or "1 R". It reads about 6.9 Kohm on my ohm meter.
The neck pickup does not have any writings on it, but it also has that "I R" or "1 R" sticker on it. Therfore, it must be SD pickup as well. It reads about 7.5 Kohm.
For some reason, I think they sound a bit modern. The neck has real warm sound, and the bridge has good bite, not a traditional tele bite.
