This post will reveal how green I am to guitar wiring...
I just got new Phat Cats, and (correct me if I'm wrong) they have a single hot lead shielded by a braid, and the braid is not insulated on the outside. Am I supposed to wrap some sort to insulation around the wires to avoid unwanted connections (e.g. the braid brushing up against another signal's conductor, or two braids touching to form a ground loop) ???
