D'oh! Soundclick is down. I can't listen to any of the clips! Gahhh! The Cruelty of it all!!

Got a question. Is there a Duncan equal to the Air Norton? Just curious.

Which has more treble teh CC or the Duncan Custom?

I ask because I don't like a lot of treble. I like more mids and bass.

I like the Super3 in the bridge...it's got a rolled off top end so its not harsh at all on the upper end but it's still fairly aggressive. It's really nice and meaty in the mids and bass, but the bass is really tight on it. It does anything from classic rock to death metal.

The Custom has more treble than the CC, but is still very fat sounding. The CC is fat all around, even on high notes, but the low end is a bit looser than most people expect.

They're about equal I believe. They are however voiced very differently! The CC is very oldschool sounding, think old Van Halen, ACDC etc. It sounds very cool for that sorta stuff.

The Custom is more harsh and fiesty. You'll have to think in Hard Rock/Metal lines like Velvet Revolver and Cacophony. I think the Custom is more transperent for harmonics though, but that's just me
