distance from string for SSL1

hi,
I have some problem with the search so I'm asking directly...
I have SSL1s mounted on my strat, I'd like to know if there is a 'default' distance between polepieces and bottom of the strings to start with, on neck and bridge position to avoid ghost notes and keeping a good tone.
Any advice is welcomed, thank you.

SD SSL1 bridge/neck; DiMarzio class of '55 middle

'95 tele AmStd:
SD '59 bridge; SD tele vintage neck

'02 squier strat
SD JB bridge; split JB middle; SD SSL1 neck
