Hello!
I just bought and installed a Sh-4 Jb Pickup on my Sg Special.
Now i got the following problem:
Everytime I move the pickup closer then 0,16 Inches to the string the sound seems to getting slightly distorted and thin!
I also use a Samson wireless unit, and when I move the pickup closer then 0,18 inches to the strings I have to use the -15db switch on the sending unit so that it doesnt reach the peak on the receiver of the wireless unit!
I didnīt have these problems with the stock pickup, but I have to admit that it was about 0,22 inches away fromt he strings...
What should the distance between the pickup and the strings be?
