I just bought some Seymour Duncan pickups - a JB Humbucker (four-conductor) for the bridge and a Quater Pounder for Tele for the neck. They're going in my Strat (taking out the middle pickup).
Now my question is... What wiring options do i have if i leave the 5-way selector in? ... The JB can obviously be split, but the Quater Pounder has a schematic for both 3-way and 5-way selector switches (standard and tapped).
So presumably - even though it's a single coil - it can be tapped? Am i right?
Basically, i wanna know if i can get 5 different sounds out of these two pickups using a 5-way selector. Any ideas??
