Re: P-bass pickup for metal
my bass player just built a bass off of warmoth, and he is a crazy metal bass player. he ended up putting the EMG active PJ bass set into his, so he can set the EQ any way he wants.... including some insane metal. He can pull of some of those crazy Manowar bass solos with those pickups, and do a lot of 'tallica and maiden stuff. anyways, u should at least check out the EMG active P-bass pickups. hope this helps.my gear: '80s fender bullet (tele style)
fender dg20ce acoustic
peavey blazer 15 watt
line 6 pod 2.3 and floorboard
Atomic Reactor 112
Warmoth double fat strat w/ SD Jb bridge and Dimarzio Humbucker from Hell
