  • Can I cover my 59's?

I would like to put covers on my Duncan 59 humbuckers. Does Duncan make them? Where can I buy them? What are they going to do to my tone?

Yes, Duncun make's em. Any Duncan dealer should have them. Lew from the board
I think has em '. As far as a tone difference?? I don't hear a major difference.
But I've heard people say PuPs sound brighter w/o the covers??

On my Gibson axes I always prefer the covers..Strats are another story..Guys say there's more "air" in the tone,a bit brighter also..I think the covers look cool and proper on my instruments..The covers probably help shield noise a bit and they also keep things out from the innards of the pickups..
