  • Comparable to a Dimarzio V2 DP407

I bought a Memphis made strat copy bought in 1985, and the owner has a Dimarzio Virtual 2 DP407 in the bridge.
What SD would be a little hotter but still have the vintage sound to replace this pickup.
It has 250K pots and looks like the mid and neck pickups are stock.

An SSL-5, a SSL-3, any of the QP's, a Twangbanger. Those are the good single coils for a nice beefed up sound. Also look into the Antiquity Custom Bridge pickups. If you're looking for maybe a humbucker instead, the Lil JB, the Lil 59, Hotrails, and Coolrails all work well. If you need anymore help, feel free to PM me and I'll help ya out.

I think you want the V V Heavy Blues. I know it's not a Duncan, but it's the closest I've heard to the Virtual2 bridge position that's fatter and higher output.
      Ain't nothin' but a G thang, baby.
