    Hello!

I have a Fender Stratocaster HH with S-1 switch system and I`m looking forward to buy new pickups both bridge and neck. Well I mostly play rock/punk/pop/emo music from 50s to 90s and so on. I just wondered what SD PUs would be suitable for me. I like very bright cleans and rich distortions.
There are PUs that I`ve been thinking of...

    Bridge:
    SH-5 Custom
    SH-11 Custom Custom
    SH-14 Custom 5

    Neck:
    SH-1 59'
    SH-2 Jazz

So what PUs would you recommend to me?

    Thanks!

you might try some pearly gates, they seem to cover a lot of ground and retain a paf sound

I'm with Jonesey on this one.

PG set, or if your bridge position is kind of bright, PG/CC.
      Ain't nothin' but a G thang, baby.

the PG's you can buy and the PG's that come in Fender guitars are different...keep thaqt in mind. If you like it bright STAY AWAY FROM THE CC...it is a killer pickup but not a bright pickup the Custom is the brighter of the 3 you named for the bridge...but were it me I'd go with a Custom V (I do not like ceramic magnets, but that said I have a Duncan Distortion that is a killer pup!). For the neck either is a good choice, but I'd get a 59 for that set-up...good luck
If you just read a post by The Guy Who Invented Fire please understand that opinions change, mind sets change and as players our ears mature...not to mention our needs grow and change. With that in mind, today I may or may not agree with the post you just read!

Ok, thanks. Well what I`ve read about Custom 5 has almost all been bad, I dont know why? I fee like most of the all humbuckers can make a good distorted sound but what PU can make also a very/extreme good clean sound too?

Seems like Pearly Gates and Custom 5
