I just got an OLP axis copy. I'm putting a custom in the bridge and I'm just going to have the neck pup that's in there as a dummy for right now. The guitar has 1 volume knob and a 3 way switch. I'm going to replace the cheapo pot with a CTS. Should I replace the cheapo switch w/ a switchcraft or will it be OK(tonewise) since I'm only going to be using it for a killswitch?

Re: Wiring a killswitch. Should I buy a new switch?
Hmmm . . . interesting question. I would guess it will depend on how you use the kill switch. If you use it to mute the output during breaks, it should be fine. If you switch it back and forth "wildly" to create that "stutter" effect, then it might not hold up too long. The Artie formerly known as ArtieToo.
