    You can make the pickguard it by yourself. It isn't so hard to make the desing and the material are pretty easy to find. You just need the JB humbucker as a template and make sure that you won't need to make the pickup hole bigger.

    Why not install a P-90 (Phat Cat) or Z90 instead !

    PS: I assume you also installed a BUZZ STOP on that Jazzmaster?

    Fitting a humbucker into a Jazzmaster

    I've got a lurverly Sonic Blue Jazzmaster and the weak bridge pickup is grating on me. I want to keep the fatness and smooth bass response of the neck pickup but I want to stick a JB into the bridge.

    Is there any method of doing this without getting a new pickguard?
