    anybody here know how the pickups in a '62 reissue strat sound?

    They are the 57/62 pickup. I think they sound real good clean.

      I love the 57/62 reissue pickups-they sound great, but not spectacular in any way-this is not a dis- these pups are just pure, vintage strat tone. No exaggerated mids, high output or high harmonic content. The 57/62s and the Custom Shop '69s are my favorite fender pickups. Your ear will never get sick of them.

        My friend has the '57 reissue, which uses the same pups. They do sound real nice. Of the Fender single coils I've heard, the 57/62 and Fat '50's sound the best.
