  • Covers on an F-spapced pick-up

Stewmac sells these generic pick-up covers in two polepiece spread sizes; 1-15/16, and 2" I pressume I would need the 2" spread (which I can measure anyway).
Anyway, my question is, would these chrome covers fit properly over a regular open humbucker like the CC? Thanks!!

Maybe the difference in spread size coincides with the neck and bridge pick ups?

I thought I saw a while back that Evan posted about SD now offering covers for tremspaced pups, although I may be mistaken. Might be worth an e-mail to the tech dept.

Jeff, I read that somewhere off of the SD main site receintly as well.

Using non-SD covers is a crap shoot and you are better off getting covers you know will fit.
