I'm on the verge of doing the PRS P-90 vintage neck-neck/custom neck-bridge thing in a Paul. I'm still a little concerned about the difference in output. Anyone out there have any reassuring words? Or would a Hot P-90 be a better choice? I'm going to custom order these with gold hardware, so I want to get it right the first time! And while we're at it - why doesn't SD put output in millivolt on the pup stats?!?!?!

Re: Hot or Vintage p-90?
I use a Vintage neck/Custom bridge setup in my LP Special and there is a noticeable difference in output but I have lessened it by tweaking the heights a bit. It makes a very useful combination IMO. The Custom neck has a little less output than the bridge version so I would think it would be fine but if you are real anal about it you might want to go with the hotter neck.My Bands -
