    Hi!
    Which wires(color) are the ones for the coil with the adjustable pole pieces on my soon to come '59s (4 wire)?

    Black - start wire, stud bobbin (non adj) north polarity
    White - finish wire, stud bobbin
    Green - start wire, post bobbin (screw) south polarity
    Red - finish wire, post bobbin

      well, i know that black and white go together for one coil and and green and red go together for the other ... not sure which is which

      i wonder if it matters whether the pickup in question is for neck or bridge? ...
      for neck, screw coil is on top and stud coil is on bottom and vice versa for bridge pickup ...
