Spec questions wire, ect...

Ok,

A Custom, a Custom 5, and a Custom Custom are the SAME coils with different magnets...They fall into the 14.0-14.5k range...does anybody know for sure what type of wire is used in these 3 pickups.

A Duncan Distortion reads out right around the 16.5k range for the bridge and righ aroung 12.5k for the neck...does anybodu know for sure what type of wire is used in these pickups?

If you just read a post by The Guy Who Invented Fire please understand that opinions change, mind sets change and as players our ears mature...not to mention our needs grow and change. With that in mind, today I may or may not agree with the post you just read!
