  • Magnet Suppliers?

Hey, everyone! My friend and I are interested in experimenting with making our own pickups. We recently constructed a pickup winder from scratch using the methods described by Jason Loller in his book. We've got some magnet wire, but we're having trouble locating suppliers of forbon (for the bobbins) and magnets (or at least suppliers that won't make us purchase huge, industrial ammounts of the stuff). Does anyone around here know of any suppliers who would cater to our small-time whims?

We're in the Seattle, WA area, so if anyone knows of any companies around there (preferably inexpensive -- we're just looking to get started here), or any places that deal reliably through the internet that can ship to individuals, please let me know. Haven't had much luck so far. Mebby just looking in the wrong place?

    Much obliged,
    Celticafro
