  • brige humbucker for my Tyler?

I am looking put a full sized humbucker in the bridge of my psych vomit studio elite. Right now has a JB jr. in the bridge and does not give me enough oomph.

Tyler has a pickup made by seymour duncan that is slanted for the bridge. However some people say its too muddy. They told me this is the only pickup you can slant in the bridge?? I need to slant the humbucker when mounting..the front and middle pickups are classic stacks and are slanted.

Can I just buy any duncan humbucker a slant position it in the bridge? Guitar has a wilkinson vintage , 2 post trem..

Here are some humbuckers that may be contenders??

    Jb trembucker
    59
    screamin demon
    C5

Guitar is made of mamayo (alder type wood) and has a satin finish on it.

Play hard rock and looking for good articulate EVH, Lynch tones in the bridge.

    Opinions, advice?

    Thanks,

    Steve

I can't completely answer the question but I have seen a JB humbucker slanted in the brigde position of a guitar before and it worked just fine.
I'll let the pros handle the meat of your question.
ISO - Fender Highway One Stratocaster - black
2004 Chevy Silveraro - 6.6 Liter Duramax Turbo Diesel
Pickup Booster - Lava Box - Tweak Fuzz - Vapor Trail
