I asked a local builder one time what his favorite set was, and he suggested what I did -APS neck/ SSL-1 mid/ SSL-3 Hot bridge
yes, at 16+K, the Hot is higher output in the bridge, but still gives you a great notch position tone. the APS neck is smooth, fat, warm, and touch sensitive; the SSL mid gives you interesting notch tones
I don't have the exact set, although I have various APS and SSL sets, and two with SSL-3 Hots in the bridge
