I love the 59 bridge model in the neck!!! Just wanted to toss that out there.
Like Lew said, back then they all came with the same pups.. Life was much simpler then.. Amazing how much time Ive spent comparing and deciding on pickups and pup combos.. Yeah, Im glad to have so many options to tailor my sound, but back in those days, they used the same gear but sounded so different. Further proof that its in the hands..
