hey guys, im thinkin' about turning my crappy little sg into a swell metal axe. i think i've pretty much decided on an invader in the bridge, but i need suggestions for a neck pickup. i'd like something with less output, but still not necessarily "low-output''. do you guys have any suggestions?

Distortion neck, Jazz, 59, any of thgese would work just fine...FYI there is a neck version of the Invader...just a thoughtIf you just read a post by The Guy Who Invented Fire please understand that opinions change, mind sets change and as players our ears mature...not to mention our needs grow and change. With that in mind, today I may or may not agree with the post you just read!

Re: invader + what?
Well you've got a few ideas now... my #1 suggestion would be get the neck version of the Invader, I had an invader set and it ROCKED.
My #2 suggestion would be a Jazz humbucker in the neck position. Also quite rockin'

Distortion or a Full Shred in the neck would compliment an Invader quite well I think.Everything in this post is the sole opinion of the author. The author makes no claims that his word is final, only that the opinions expressed are those of the author and any similiarities to the opinions of others is purely coincidental.
