  • what about this combo

I'm buying a new guitar and more than likely, I will swap the pickups out. I'm wanting to stay away from the high output pickups this time around. The guitars I'm looking at are....

    Dean EVO Select
    Ibanez SZ520
    Schecter Black Jack PT
    Agile 3000

The p/ups I'm looking at for any of these are the Pearly Gates Bridge and the Alinco pro II neck...

Anyone use this combo in these types of guitars? Suggestions? Comments?
    Please?

I have an AIIPro neck that I use with my CC in the bridge...it is a damn fine pickup, I also have a PG bridge that I use with my PG neck...and I'll tell you this, I got the PG bridge first then about a week later I got the PG neck...the PG bridge was/is amazing and I love everything about I, the PGn is even better! It is without a doubt my favorite neck pickup...if you are gonna put a PG in the bridge do yourself a favor and pickup a PG neck to go with it! there is nothing with the AIIPro and in fact I bet it would sound good with the PG bridge but the PG neck is killer.

if you search the forum I posted a short review of the Alnico II pro...it is a great pickup and I like it alot, but the PGn is my favorite neck bucker.
