  • Back to the blues

I play metal a lot but I think my next guitar will be a more vintage one. I think of a fat strat with H/S/S configuration, to go back to the roots of my playing, "the blues". What pickup should I use in the bridge for a real deep hollow PAF tone? I think of the 59b, the soundclips sound deeper than seths or any other lower output paf pickups I'm not sure though. I'd like to be able to sound harder for rock or hard rock sometimes. What do you guys think?
    Thanks

The 59 is cool, I like th Pearly Gates better, though. The mids are a bit fuller than the 59 with a bit less glass in the highs. Either will sound great though. For the neck and mid, I like the APS singles or the SSL-1's.
    Ain't nothin' but a G thang, baby.
