Push Pull Kill Switch ?

All,

I have attached an SD wiring guide that is "pretty close" to what I need to do, I just don;t understand how to wire one of the P/P pots.

Here is what I have ( see attachement ):

1 - 3 Way Switch
1 - Neck HB
1 - Bridge HB
1 - Volume POT with Push/PUll
1 - Tone POT with Push/PUll

What I would like to be able to do it this:
On the VOL Pot - when I pull it up, it splits the coil on the Pickups
On the TONE Pot - when I pull it up, I want it to TOTALLY KILL the connection to the NECK Pickup.

Looking at the attached - is it possiable?

This will do what you're looking for. It's not the cleanest because I'm using my laptops touch pad but you should get the idea



though pesonally I think rather than having a switch to just kill the neck pickup I think you should maybe consider a blower switch for the bridge pickup which will pretty much act like the bridge pickup it wired to the output jack bypassing everything. If you want to try that here's how to do it

I alos like option "2" better, but he wants to be able to use the 2 Way Switch to TOGGLE effect the HB's like Rhoads does on some of his solo / into stuff - so killing everything deso not work. Really appreciate the help !

Shadow KillPot! It's a volume/tone pot that has a built-in push-button kill switch.
