  • TV Jones Power'tron???

I need pickups for my upcoming usacustomguitar. It's gonna be like TeleLesPaulGretsch (semihollow tele swamp ash body/walnut top, indian rosewood neck/fb, two humbuckers and bigsby B5/tonepros TOM).
So does any of you have any experience with TV Jones Power'trons?
My other alternatives could be Seth Lovers, and maybe Fralin Un-buckers or Harmonic design classic humbuckers...
    ...or something...

My TV Jones experience is limited to the Setzer Hot Rods and a hot rodded Ibanez with TV Trons in it. I dig them but my time on them is limited. I'd like to try one of his alnico Filtertrons against my sotck ceramic one to see what the difference is.

I have heard a clip of a Powertron neck pup in a Chapin Hawk (swamp ash soild body/mahogany neck). I really liked it. Thick, chewy Bluesbreaker tone, with good definition. BIG sound. Playing it thru a Komet amp didn't hurt anything, either I think that clip is available on the Chapin website.

TV Jones...never dealt with him. The website has no clips, and you have to dig even to find an email link (at least that's how it was last time I checked). I've heard good things about his pups, tho.
