Guys, I have an idea how to go passive and active in one guitar. Neat idea, but I need some help with expanding that idea.
I have in one humbucker frame 2 singlecoilsized humbuckers. For ease of mind, let's call 'm simply hotrails.
One set of 4 conductor wires goes to the BMP. No problem there. neck and bridge.
One set of 4 conductor wires goes to a passive circuit. Since I've got a 4 pole 5way blade I can have the same switch to switch between pickups in active or passive mode. I just switch with a toggle between the BMP pot or the passive 500k pot. That's all. easy as apple pie.
but here it comes. this is the kicker.
I've got 2 Fender S1 4 pole switches. I want to use that to ADD one coil of the passive side to the BMP in the active mode OR add one coil of the BMP side in the PASSIVE mode.
Wiring heroes, do your magic! I am stuck.
