Just bought an Ibanez Talman semi-hollow body and I love it. It's my first non-solid body guitar in 32 years of playing. My question is while I like the neck pickup, I find the bridge pickup lacking in power compared to what I am used to. I usually use EMG 85's on all my guitars. I play mostly rock to hard rock (no metal), but I am not sure the EMG 85 is suitable for the semi-hollow Talman. Anyone have any suggestions for a more powerful pickup for this guitar? Or should I give the EMG's a try?

Re: semi-hollow body pickups
I like Seths inSemi's too, but if you're used to EMG's, something hotter might be better for you. Perhaps an Alnico II Pro humbucker inthe neck and a Custom Custom in the bridge would work out well in that guitar.Ain't nothin' but a G thang, baby.
