  • Help with p/u's on Ibanez RG

O.K. it's time for an upgrade. I have a RG350dx. This axe has a bass wood body, HSH p/u configuration, floyd trem and will mostly be used for metal thru a Vox ad50vt amp. Here is what I was considering, sh5 or distortion in the bridge and full shread in the neck. Not sure about the single in the middle. What do you guy's think?

I have RG470 with PATb2 in the bridge.. it kicks butt..
But I can't help you with the other pu's.. I ran out of money and didn't change 'em..

i think the custom and full shredd would be badass in there

you can get a true single coil to get some cool funky tones with it too!!

In my RG570, I've used an Invader, Distortion, JB, Custom, Custom Custom, and DiMarzio Evolution. The only one's I wasn't happy with were the Evo & the CC.
