I just picked up a mockingbird GoldTop all mahogany with a maple cap (basically made to mimic a Les Paul) and the dude put a Custom in and did the alnico VIII mod to it, and I must say it is incredible! Just had to post this to gush a little. Frickin' love this pickup! amazing recorded tone and in the room. Custom 8 FTW.
