I'm running my ESP EX151D through a 100 Marshall amp (combo), and through two pedals: A Metalzone and a Blues Driver pedal (adds GREAT sustain and lows). My two pickups are an EMG-HZ on the neck (Which I hope to be replacing when I get money) and my prize piece: A Duncan Distortion in the bridge.
I was hoping that, by replacing the EMG-HZ in the bridge (Two EMG HZs were stock) with the Duncan Distortion, my problem of feedback would've been solved. No sail.
What could I do to get rid of this feedback (besides the normal "turn away from the amp" deal, which I do)? Or is it only because of the pedals?
I also notice that, when I apply pressure to the knobs and switch of the guitar, the feedback immediately lessens. Is there something I should be cleaning out, and how?
Thanks.
