  • Flipping the pickup upside down?

Ok i'm a vain man... i'll admit it

i want to get a JB/Jazz combo on my guitar but i want it to look cool. so i was thinking either a 2 zebras going white - black black - white

or 2 nickel plated going poles - no poles no poles - poles

i've seen these before but was wondering how to acheive them.. i mean at blackrosecustom i don't see a reverse zebra for the jazz or any reverse nickel plates at all

so do i just flip these things upside down? or do i have to special order them casting more money then its worth?? i mena i've see them all the time... how do i get one too

All you're describing is a regular set of zebras and a regular set of covered pickups. Nothing special at all about your request.

That's how they are. The adjustable poles go on the outside. You don't have to do anything special. Just make sure the Jazz Model you order is for the neck. The JB's are made for the bridge...so no worries there.

so, just get 2 pickups, both zebra(BOTH, therefore you should NOT get a zebra and a reverse zebra) or both covered, then you turn them so that the screw pole pieces of the bridge pup are facing the bridge(of the guitar) and the neck pickups screw pole pieces are facing the tuners. this isnt a stupid question, how would someone who doesnt know a whole lot about pickup cosmetics knwo this otherwise?
