    1. Is there such a thing as a Hot Rails middle?

    2. If there isn't, which would be a better middle with a Hot Rails bridge & neck - another Hot Rails neck, or a Cool Rails? I don't want a big volume drop when I switch to the middle, but some tonal variety would be nice.

    3. If the answer to #2 is Cool Rails, which one? N or B? (or M, if it exists?)

    3. Has anyone tried a HR neck in the bridge position? Results?

    This is in regards to an alder Strat, for non-vintage sounds, obviously....But they may go into an all-mahogany guitar too.

    i am pretty sure that most folks would say that a neck pup would be best for the middle

    cant help too much on the other Qs, but some folks should be along to give their opinions
