Fender Fat Strat

Hey there everyone, Just joined the forum and I would like some advice from all you bad ass pickup people.

Me and My brother Tony are working on a fender Fat strat, everythings going smooth. Were Using a Pearly gates as the bridge position humbucker, but are posed with the question of what to use for the mid and neck? he's got a set of fender Tex mex pick ups but im wondering if theyll mix well. would they?? any suggestions? thanks alot.

the tex mex are ok but not really my bag. i like the alnico II pros, they are warmer but still very stratty. the texmex do have more output but i dont think they have as much character. i might try em out since ya have em and if ya dont like em, get something else
