  • Duckbucker in Bridge

    What are your thoughts on the duckbucker in the bridge of strat? I love the clean sound it has on the seymour duncan sounds page, but have never actually played a duckbucker in person.

    Fender American Deluxe Strat (still stock SCNs)

          I'm planning on installing one in the bridge posn real soon. I think it'll make a great "jangle" with the other pups I'm using. (a Classic Stack middle and a QuarterPound neck). I really like the sound I get with Strat pups combined. My favorite is all three together, and I think the DB will add some nice tones to that combo. I'll let ya know...

            thats an odd combo since most people put the hottest pup in the bridge, but if it works, who cares!!

            a duck in the bridge will give ya a nice stratty bridge tone with no hum, the bridge/middle setting should be great as well. killer quack
