Re: Any folks tried the Duncan Mini's?
Do Mini-HBs have standard size magnets? Can they be switched?

My SM-1 came with a single shielded lead. I believe the SM-2 and -3 have 4-wire leads, so you could split those.

To me it's a matter of which do you need to have closer, the Volume or the selector switch. Personally I think Volume, but I tend to find a selector position I like and stick to it.

I think so, Butch. It's a Nashville, so it'll have the Tex-Mex Strat in the middle, too. Thank god for the MIM "swimming pool" pickup route.

Originally posted by skh515Hey Butch, any idea about the output on the Aniquity II Mini-HB pups, especially the LP Deluxe.
1. Firebird = 6.7k neck, 8.2k bridge
2. LP Deluxe = 6.7k neck, 8.1k bridge

I bet you could do a search and find the info.

Re: Any folks tried the Duncan Mini's?
I have an SM-3n in the neck of a Tele, and it sounds excellent -- full and warm, clear, good growl and even some bite. It matched well with a 7.1 K Fender Nocaster but even better with a 6.95 K Antiquity Flatpole Tele lead.

I have a SM-1 in the neck of my Tele. It blends really well with Tele lead pickups. I like it better than any stock style Tele neck pickup I've tried.
