  • What pickup should i get?

    HI everyone,
I want to get a humbucker to put by the bridge to replace the single coil pickup on my american strat. I was told that the SH4-JB model would be a good choice. Is that correct? I am want to be able to get some crunch in my guitar sound and some deep sound, something similar to the sound Mike Einziger of Incubus has with his jazz master he uses now. Thanks a bunch! Talk to you soon

The JB can crunch for sure, but so can a lower output pup, like the '59 or a Seth Lover (think Van Halen I tone in a strat)

I have the JB in an alder/maple Strat abd a basswood/maple RG. It sounds great in both for a wide variety of material.
