  • So I installed a Push/Pull pot...

and with the pot pushed in the pickup is in single coil and with it pulled out it is in humbucker, is that how it is suppose to be and if so can I make so its the other way around?

it should switch into single coil when you pull the pot out and when you give it a gentle whack on the backside it should go into full humbucker mode again =)

I think you may have wired the switch to the wrong side of the connection tags try a mirror image to what you have connected up ie left to right right to left as you look at the tags but first of course double check with your wireing diagram. It's all a bit tight in there and I think most of us get it wrong now and then

DPDT push pull pots have two groups of terminals arranged in rows of three.

Connect the red/white wires to a center terminal and the terminal in that group of three that is closest to the stem will get grounded.

          That should do it.

Robert Is there any way to choose whitch side of the humbucker you use for the split as my JB seems to be the inside coil without the screws I quite like it just wondering though.

Ah ok. I have it like this right now:

I have the red and white on 2 and the green on 3 which is grounded.

So I just move everything from terminal 3 to 1 right?

just mirror it to the other side, so if you wired them on the right, move em to the left (i wont specify the positions cuz my friend bought some push/pulls that, for some reason, you had to wire em differently)
