    With a 250K pot you'll be letting more high frequencies go through. Makes for quite a lead PU but at the expense of your rhythm sound. Put a 1 mg pot with the JB ... thick rhythm tone but no harmonics.

    That's what's great about the JB ... everybody has a different take on it.
    Sorry but I think this is wrong or i understood something wrong.
    The 250K pot is used to tame the highs.

      Yeah my intention was to tame the highs on the Jb by wiring in a 250K pot. I also have the understanding that a higher pot value will let more high frequencies through.
      I think that using a 250K improved the rythem sound and the lead sound just stayed the same. (still singin'!) Not shure about the harmonics but I don't think those are unaffected.
