Pickup for Punk ? Help.. 'cause Im not into Punk!!!

Well.... no ... Im not into Punk music. But I have a good friend who's into that thing.

He needs a humbucker to put in his squier... there's already something in there, that actually LOOKS like a pickup, but I wounldnt call that a pickup.

So, is the JB a good choice ? He plays thru a HotRod Deluxe, and I think the JB would really cut in the mix thru this amp.

i would agree the JB would be the best if he is going for that overall punk sound. Alos keep in mind, the JB is a versatile pick up so if one day he chooses tolay of the punk and power chords hew ill stil have an alright guitar
