What electronics, i.e. capacitors, wiring, pots, would you recommend to get the best, sweetest sound out of them?

My favorite pot set up is a 500k linear taper volume with a 220pf treble bleed with a 300k audio taper no load tone with an 18nf paper in oil cap.

what type of guitar? in a bright tele id go 250k volume and tone with a .02 cap. in a darker guitar i might modify that setup a bit. they can be bright pups which isnt a bad thing at all. if it was me putting them in a lp deluxe id go 500k all around and expect to use my tone control on the bridge pup a fair amount. i dont like treble bleeds or no load pots for what thats worth. i like the loading of a tone control to push down the resonant peak and i dont like what treble bleeds do to the tone as you roll the volume down
