7-String Dimarzio Pickup Problems

I have really been digging a cheap Ibanez RG7321 7-string that I bought and threw a Dimarzio Blaze Neck and Blaze Custom Bridge into. I would really like to sell a few things off and buy one of the Steve Vai UV70P 7-strings that also has the Blaze Middle. The problem is, I do NOT like the regular Blaze Bridge at all, and would want to switch it for a Blaze Custom. Unfortunately, it looks like Dimarzio only makes Direct-Mount 7-string pickups with the mounting screw holes drilled out relatively wide for wood screws. I need a Blaze Custom with regular machine screw threads in it so I can mount it on the Ibanez pickguard. Does anyone know if you can get something like that from Dimarzio? I have already Emailed them, but haven't heard back yet. Thought I would ask here in the meantime.

Ask BanjoMikez on eBay or maybe contact AxePalace (DiMarzio dealers) if you don't hear back from DiMarzio directly. Seems like something they could accommodate

The Blaze Bridge indeed sucks.

If you've got wide hole pickups, you could jam them between two nuts at the expense of on the fly adjustment... or, according to another forum member, solder a nut onto it

Blaze Bridge sucks? Not in my uv70p! Its not very tight, but has great dynamics and output.
