  • Fixing baseplate

Guys, I recently swapped for a Jazz neck, and when I go to install it I realize the screw holes on the legs are wallowed out bigger than 3-48. I found some 3-48 brass nuts that I thought I could solder to the legs. Has anyone done this? They are so small that I wonder if I soldered them, I would get solder on the adjustment screws also.
    Any tips?

Machine screws and nuts. You could probably glue the nuts on the baseplate.

Go to mojotone and buy a new baseplate. They are easy to replace.

I've been wiring for enough time that I can always find either a new baseplate or screws to fit the baseplate with bigger holes in my collection of part heaps lol.
