I'll check out, and play the guitar (if i get it, as my father promised)-

but I'm intrigued about the "active pickups" idea...and the GFS are cheapest ...

We talk about GFS all the time. I love my Dream 180 and my Dream 90's.

I have a stock pickup in my Ibanez that Im not a huge fan of but its not so bad that I will be replacing it, never know the pick ups in that guitar may be to your liking.

Yeah, sure. I don't have the economy either- to start swapping stuff around

I'd use that guitar for heavy rock/metal- and all kind of "tremolo bridge arm" stuff, that I can't do, on my TOM Epiphone.

What kind of music do you want to play on that guitar?

Ouch! And if they catch you in a lie, how many years is it?

Unsure about what the bridge is like. My father wants to give it to me. I asked him to send pics of the bridge- not recieved yet.

(would rock to have a tremolo bridge )

Good pickups for a "cruiser, by Crafter". guitar?

    It's H-s-H config-

with a maple/rosewood neck, unknown body material.

I want this to complement the Epiphone Wildkat, that's my main guitar.

I'm wondering if to go "all the way" and install EMG actives, or GFS actives-

maybe some Duncans. (I apologize, but their prices in Norway- you can get a new guitar for the price of one!! pickup...)

or try to keep it more moderate...

What would you do, with this "bargain" axe?
