  • difference between a SH-4 JB, an a TB-4 JB?

    ok my friend who has decided to go for a jb (thanks for you help there btw) no wants to know the difference between a SH-4 JB, an a TB-4 JB?, what a trembucker is and does he need one as his guitar has a floyd rose?

    If he has a Floyd Rose, tell him to get a TB-4 JB. There is no difference between the regular SH-4. The TB-4 just has the polepieces farther apart, this is because the strings are also farther apart on a Floyd Rose. So in order for the polepieces to collect the best signal from the strings, a TB-4 is recommended.

      The TB-4 is the one spaced for a Floyd or Fender trem. I recommend he gets it, just so there isn't any drop-off in the response.
