Would a hard dense wood when paired with PG's be better for a zz tone or would a less dense wood with PG's give a better zz top tone?

Re: wood for PG pickups, and gibbons tone
Well, the PG was designed off of the pickups in Billy Gibbons 59 Les Paul. So.....Mahogany back and sides, with a maple cap ( top ). The PG has a pronounced mid peak, so it will sound warmer in a denser wood, such as Mahogany.Only The Strong Survive
