I hear the custom is a great pup, but does it give solid note definition with palm mutes? and if not, what's another pup that does? I want to be able to hear EVERY note in a palm mute if I change a chord or sumthin. Also, about this Return Policy, is it available in Canada, and if so how does it apply/how can u use it?

Re: question about Duncan Custom
The custom is really articulate while palm muting, sounds nice and crunchy and yesss, there are plenty of harmonics... great pick-up in my ltd deluxe.. I'm pretty positive that you'll like it if what you asked about is pretty much what you're looking for.

Re: question about Duncan Custom
Yeah I have the Custom in my LP. Great pickup. Very tight and clear, and rather aggressive. EQ'ed towards the mids and highs but there is plenty of bass. Good harmonics, though no quite as good as the JB IMO. When combined with a tamer neck pup it does calm down somewhat but in a good way. It can do metal easily but I think of it as more of a hard rock kind of pickup... just my personal opinion though.

Re: question about Duncan Custom
Can't really say much that hasn't been said already. I've got one in my Epi Sg and it makes a world of difference. Great for heavy stuff...I currently have my SG tuned to "drop C" i guess its called (CGCFAD) and it does the job well. I've questioned this pickup, but have come to conclude I just don't like my amp anymore.-Tom
