  • Pickup Advice?

Hi guys I recently bought an Ibanez RG1570 and have to say i was a bit dissapointed by the bridge v8 pickup. I read a lot about Seymour Duncan and fancy upgrading to one, however I dont know which one would be best suited for me. Ive never done this before and dont even know anything about compatability or anything. Basically i like really heavy distortion ...something like metallica dream theater pantera etc.

    Any ideas?

    Thanks in advance

But is that a really heavy chunky pu? I seen one that i liked the sound of....a Seymour Duncan LW-HMET LiverWire Metal Humbucker. Is that one good?

If you like the Live Wire and bands like Metallica, I would suggest you look at EMG pickups. Particularly the EMG 81.

            Axe-FX Ultra
            ART SLA2
