  • Help with '73 Tele bridge pup!!

My uncle has a great 73 tele guitar. The bridge pup, well, let's just say it may have played it's last song. I'm not a country player, or very much of a tele player, for that matter, so I'm asking the tone wizards on this board for some ideas. I need something to replace this pickup with that will give a VERY SIMILAR TONE to the stock. I thought maybe Antiquity? Any help would be appreciated!!

I'd look to the Anty II line it'll be a bit closer than the regular Ant's.

Anyone else? This pup needs to be at it best for cleans...he never uses distortion.

      Thanks!

Antiquity II would be the thing for "closest to a 73". My fave though is the JD lead.

i would go with the antiquity II as it has alnico 5 magnets and will be brighter than the regular antiquity line.
